SAC Office of Technology Services is available to provide software quotes to meet your department needs. New software requests go through software compliance review to ensure that the software abides by District IT standards.
New Software Purchases:
1. The requestor will need to complete the Software Justification form

2. In addition, some new software requests will require additional forms that can be accessed through OTS SharePoint Site (click on the link to download a copy of the forms)
a. Justification for Sole Source (OTS - Submit to Purchasing with Requisition)
b. Vendor Registration through Alamo Colleges District Supplier Diversity Management System
For new software requests, your department Chairperson/Director should consult with the Dean or Division administrator for funding to support the purchase of the software.
After consulting with the responsible department, OTS will annually process software maintenance renewals using a centralized allocated budget.
