A Group email account (i.e. sac-helpdesk@alamo.edu) or Guest Email account (i.e. for non-Alamo Colleges employee such as a Consultant) can be requested by Alamo Colleges Employees. However, the Requestor's Department Head must first authorize the Requestor permission to request a special email account.
Group IDs:ACES User ID/ Email ID for a group are manually created by District Information Technology. The User ID will be composed of a 3 character code representing the college or district the group belongs to, a dash '-', and then a 1 to 15 character name representing the group or organization. For example sac-helpdesk@alamo.edu.
