Technology Infrastructure Assessment

Service Description:
The Office of Technology Services Coordinator of College Technology serves the San Antonio College community as one of the key resources for supporting your networking service needs. The coordinator will provide a technology infrastructure assessment of all networking needs due to department and classroom growth, building construction, renovations, or other situations regarding network and power connectivity. The coordinator will work alongside San Antonio College technicians, vendors, and contractors to provide services needed and minimize disruption of services throughout a project.

Eligibility: Staff, Faculty

Availability:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):

For assistance regarding a Technology infrastructure assessment, services can be requested through the online service ticketing website at http://footprints.alamo.edu. When submitting a ticket please select "Network Services" from the Service field, "Network Connectivity-Wired" from the Component field, and "Report a Problem" from the Detail field. Services can also be requested by contacting the college HelpDesk at 210-486-0777.

Service Cost:
Costs vary depending on requested infrastructure needs and may be covered by the department or a general technology fund. Each request will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
