IT Contract Review Process

Service Description:

If your department has a need for a special technology related purchase, contact the Office of Technology Services (OTS) to determine if budget is available.  If your quotes or documents that are part of the purchase require signatures, OTS will follow the procedures noted in SOP - OTS Administration - Technology Purchases with Agreement or Contract Signature Requirements (External) to obtain signatures.  Note:  SAC Office of Technology Services (OTS) is provided a budget for technology related purchases.  This budget is primarily to renew existing software/hardware maintenance and to replace 20% of computers assigned to Staff, Faculty and Labs each fiscal year.

Availability:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday Standard Business Hours. Excluding College Holidays.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Submit a FootPrints work order if your department has a need for a special technology related purchase.  The SAC Director of Information Technology will determine if budget is available in the college technology budget.  If budget is available, OTS will obtain the required signatures by following the process noted in OTS SharePoint.  To view the process, login to OTS SharePoint with your SAC Network username and password. Go to the OTS Services Documents Section, then click the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) button, then choose OTS Administration Folder and view
SOP - OTS Administration - Technology Purchases with Agreement or Contract Signature Requirements (External).
