Service Description:
"Mobile Device" is a term used at Alamo Colleges to refer to a variety of portable devices, including, smart phones and tablets.  All mobile devices connecting to Alamo Colleges’ network must abide by the Alamo Colleges Appropriate Use Policy.  Office of Technology Services provides email and wireless setup for most mobile devices.  Visit the Office of Technology Services Service Center at MLC 710 to explore support options.

Eligibility: Student, Staff, Faculty

Availability:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Employees and Students may contact the Service Center located in the Moody Learning Center, room 710, for assistance with their various mobile devices.  Employees and students can also access the wireless website: www.alamo.edu/sac/wireless. Employees can make a service request through the online self-service request system at http://footprints.alamo.edu.

A fast, secure, wireless network connection is available from a wide range of college locations.  Wireless Maps and Mobile Device Configuration Settings can be found at http://www.alamo.edu/sac/wireless. For instructions on setting up your email account on your mobile device please visit https://www.alamo.edu/academics/academic-resources/student-e-mail-setup/. San Antonio College also has a limited number of iPads that are loaned out via the iPad in the Classroom Program. These iPads can be checked out at our OTS Service Center, located in the Moody Learning Center Building, Room 710.
