Missing or Stolen Technology Equipment

Service Description: The Office of Technology Services (OTS) department provides technology equipment to students, staff and faculty of San Antonio College.  In the event of missing or stolen college-owned technology equipment, a report must be filed immediately (not to exceed 10 days) with the Department of Public Safely (DPS) by calling 210-485-0099. If theft or damage to Alamo Colleges' property happened off-campus, a report must also be filed with  the San Antonio Police Department at 210-207-7273. A case number or copy of each report must be submitted to the Office of Technology Services at Moody Learning Center (MLC), room 207.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Service Cost:
Charges to lost, damaged, or stolen equipment will be on a case-by-case basis and borrower will assume full financial responsibility to reimburse the institution.

Additional Information: Use of Alamo Colleges' equipment is for academic research and activities only. Personal or unlawful use of Alamo Colleges' equipment is prohibited.

For short-term loan equipment checked-out from the OTS Service Center, the borrower will assume full responsibility as outlined in the Alamo Colleges' Loaned Property Request Form, Alamo Colleges Acceptable Use Policy, OTS Short-Term Loan Form, and Loaner Equipment Guidelines. The borrower will return equipment on-time and in good working condition. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action and charges filed for theft or damage of District property.
