Assistive Technology Support
Service Description:
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) will work with disABILITY Support Services to ensure that individual needs for assistive and adaptive technology support are addressed throughout San Antonio College. The Student Mega Lab, located on the 5th floor of the Moody Learning Center (MLC), is an open lab where students can come in and utilize Zoom Text and Kurtzwiel applications, as well as accessible workstations in the lab's Assistive Technology Zone.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Assistive and adaptive technology workstations are available at the Student Mega Lab, locate on the 5th floor of the Moody Learning Center. Upon entering the lab, students must sign in using their Banner number. Once signed in, a Mega Lab staff member will direct the student to the appropriate work stations. One-on-one training on general software and assistive technology can be arranged.

Additional Information:
To provide the best practices, the Office of Technology Services has partnered up with DisABILITY Support Services to present training sessions promoting the benefits and options of assistive technology to employees and students with special needs.
