For employee printing, the Alamo Colleges Purchasing Department has a contract to lease printers from The Stewart Group (HP and Canon brand Printers).

At San Antonio College, HP/Canon leased printers are labeled with The Stewart Group Helpdesk # 210-858-8568 or 972-652-3210.

Department Charges for Printing by Employees

Departments get charged for each “click” or printed copy done by their employees. 
There is no cost for using the “scan to email” feature. 

As of Jan 2019, the SAC Vice President of College Services continues to have a centralized budget to cover leased printer costs for the entire college; this includes printing done by employees. 

However, if printing volumes are exceedingly high, the SAC Vice President of College Services will consult with other SAC Vice Presidents who in turn will determine how to charge their respective Department(s)/Unit(s) Budgets.

  For HP or Canon Leased Printers, Technicians manually add the printers to the employee computers.  Once mapped, employees will see the printer(s) listed in their computer. 
The printer name will have the format of  "AlamoPrint on 10veps-p001"
