Instructional Innovation Center (IIC)

Service Description:
The Instructional Innovation Center (IIC) is dedicated to the support and advancement of technology-enhanced teaching and learning at San Antonio College. The IIC staff consists of an Instructional Designer and training specialists. The lab offers faculty and staff individual hands-on training with software and web based applications. The IIC staff promotes the use of innovative technologies and also serves as a test bed for new technology applications in computing and education.

Availability:
Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
IIC Walk-In Technical Support: Located on the seventh floor of the Moody Learning Center (MLC) in room 712.  Training specialists are available to answer questions about a plethora of software issues ranging from updating course content in the learning management system Canvas, to assistance with third party software like Concourse (eSyllabus) and eLumen (student learning outcomes).

Monthly training sessions and one-on-one consulting appointments are available for faculty and staff.

You can request one-on-one training appointments by completing the 1-on-1 Training Request Form.

In addition, our Office of Technology Services Instructional Innovation Center exists to provide support to facilitate learning, growth, and development of the faculty and staff at San Antonio College.

Registration for our trainings will be processed using AlamoTalent, which can be found in
