Mega Lab

Service Description:
The Mega Lab facility is an open access computer lab accessible to all SAC students. Located in the Moody Learning Center (MLC), the Mega Lab offers resources such as, PC and Apple workstations, printing and scanning services, internet access, and much more to help students complete class work. Staff with specialized knowledge of operating systems and key software applications are on hand to assist students with any troubleshooting needs.

Eligibility: Student, Staff, Faculty

Availability:
Fall and Spring Semesters Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Summer Semesters Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m. Excluding College Holidays.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
The Student Mega Lab is located on the 5th Floor of the Moody Learning Center (MLC), room 502. When you enter, you will be asked to present your student ID at the front desk with your Banner ID before utilizing Mega Lab technology. One-on-One training can be scheduled on a walk in basis or through the Student Computer Workshop Training Calendar.

Mega Lab Policy
    All Alamo Colleges students are authorized to use the lab. Students using the computer lab will be required to sign in at the entry desk before using the lab. No reservation is needed.  Students will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. San Antonio College Faculty and Staff can reserve a computer lab for San Antonio College-related functions.  Please contact the lab for schedule availability.

    Academic departments wishing to reserve an instructional lab for technical training use at times other than regularly scheduled classes can contact the Mega Lab at sac-megalab@alamo.edu or call 210-486-0160. You will also need to complete the Computer Lab Reservation Form. If you have any questions, please contact 210-486-0160 or email  sac-megalab@alamo.edu.There are several perimeter computer classroom labs available for instruction.
