Active Learning Classrooms (Classroom of the Future)

Service Description:

Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs), formerly referred to as “Classrooms of the Future,” are student-centered interactive and collaborative learning environments featuring comfortable student furniture and innovative technology, such as laptop carts, interactive projection systems, mobile marker boards, and whiteboard wall panels.The two ALCs are located at the Moody Learning Center, 5th floor, Room 524 (30 seats) and in the Early Childhood Studies Building (ECSB), Room 200 (25 seats).  Both classrooms are fully Wi-Fi enabled and feature laptop charging towers.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
For reserving or requesting further information regarding MLC 524, please contact the Student Mega Lab via email at sac-megalab@alamo.edu and include beginning and ending course dates, course name, course section and CRN number.

Access and use of ECSB 200 must be reserved through the Office of Early Childhood Education Department, Room 206. Email Bea Canales at bcanales1@alamo.edu for questions regarding room availability and/or to make reservations.

Additional Information: The Early Childhood Education Department, Room 206 does not allow users to eat or drink in this classroom. Please use designated areas that allow eating and drinking.
