ACES for Faculty and Staff

Service Description:

Alamo Colleges Educational Services (ACES) is a secure portal that employees can use to access leave and pay stub information, as well as to register for professional development sessions among other key District and College wide Services.  In addition, Faculty can use ACES to access online courses that they are assigned to teach.  ACES also provides access to email and the latest information of events and important news for Alamo Colleges.

Eligibility: Staff, Faculty

Availability:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Excludes emergency system maintenance timeframes.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):

Faculty and Staff will be granted access to ACES during the hiring process.

You will need your ACES Username and password to login to https://aces.alamo.edu.

First-time users will be prompted to enter a default password.  For assistance, please contact our San Antonio College Helpdesk at (210) 486-0777.  Ensure that the default password is updated and changed upon logging in for the first time.

Once logged in to ACES with the username and password, employees are prompted to authenticate via Multi-factor Authentication (MFA). 

·_         MFA is a security protocol requiring additional authentication factors.

·_         MFA is an added layer of security to your ACES account.

·_         MFA is required to access ACES each time you login.

M    MFA Authentication Options are based on what you as the employee choose as an authentication preference:

·_         MFA Code to be sent to your work email or personal email address

·_         MFA Code to be sent via phone call to your work phone or personal cell phone

·_         MFA Code to be sent via text message to your personal cell phone 

 To Update your MFA Email Address:

            In ACES, go to Employee Tab            

            Select Web Services Link

            Go to Personal Information Tab

            Select the Update E-Mail Addresses link (choose your Preferred Email Address)

5          You can also add an Alternate E-Mail Address for MFA.

 To Update your MFA Phone Number:

            In ACES, go to Employee Tab

            Select Web Services Link     

            Go to Personal Information Tab

            Select Update Addresses and Phones link (choose your Primary Phone Number)          

            You can also add an Alternate Phone Number for MFA.
