Every employee at San Antonio College is given an Alamo Colleges email account. This email account is immediately activated upon employment at the Alamo Colleges. Employees will need to login to their ACES account to access this email. All official communications from San Antonio College will be sent to this email account.
Email for faculty & staff is available via ACES accounts and via Outlook on work computers. The email address is composed of the ACES username followed by @alamo.edu (Example: If ACES username is jsmith1234, email address is jsmith1234@alamo.edu).
New Employees will receive an email from Human Resources (HR) with the employee's newly assigned ACES email address. You can access your email be logging in to your ACES account.
You can also access your email via Outlook on your work computer. Submit a FootPrints work order request or call the SAC Helpdesk (210) 486-0777 for a Technical Specialist to assist with setting up your email account via Outlook on your workstation.
· In the work order Services listed, choose “IT Support,” “Tech Support Services,” “Software,” “Outlook Request.” In the Description Box, type information such as, “Need Technician to setup my work email account in Outlook in my office computer. My office computer is located at SAC Building/Room #.”
