Skype for Business, formerly known as Microsoft Lync, is an easy-to-use interface that enables you to communicate in real time through instant messaging. Skype for Business saves time and improves productivity. It also provides audio & video conferencing and presence information that you can customize and share with your contacts to help them communicate with you.
Skype for Business allows for inter-office instant messaging and directory information. The system is tightly integrated with the Microsoft Office System (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Skype for Business can be accessed through your workstation simply by clicking the Start Windows icon and searching for the "Skype for Business" application. Once opened, login using your Alamo College's email address and email password. When logging in, use the following format:
Sign-in address: ACES email address
Password: ACES email password
Domain\Username: root\username
