Service Description:
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) Programming Unit provides a professional service for the development of web applications for San Antonio College. OTS utilizes the vb.net programming language to create and maintain web applications. This service is provided to give faculty and staff the ability to utilize web applications as a means to update and maintain information for their respective departments with ease, as opposed to distributing and installing software on their computer. This service requires a consultation and approval by the Director of Information Technology, as well as the OTS Programming Unit, to ensure Client and College standards are met.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
To request the creation of a new web application, please contact the Director of Information Technology, Usha Venkat, by email at uvenkat@alamo.edu. Once the written request has been reviewed, the OTS Programming Team will meet to determine all project requirements, including timelines, flow of program, and additional resources required. Once the project has been thoroughly discussed and approved by the Director of Information Technology, the Programming Team will reach out to the Requestor and project communication will begin.
