Service Description:

Per District-wide procedure, computers are replaced on a five year cycle.  The SAC VP of College Services allocates a Desktop Replacement Plan budget for SAC Office of Technology Services (OTS) to replace 20% of outdated computers for Staff and Lab computers each fiscal year.  District IT provides budget to replace 20% of the Faculty computers each fiscal year.  SAC OTS Asset Management identifies the oldest machines that need to be replaced as part of these Replacement Plans.
