Programming Design and Consulting

Service Description:

Programming design and consulting is a service which allows faculty and staff to request the customization of a software to perform particular tasks needed. The office of Technology Services (OTS) will evaluate a user's computer system to determine how to create or improve software for greater efficiency. All source codes are stored on San Antonio College web server and regularly backed up on a schedule.

Eligibility: Staff, Faculty

Availability:
7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, Excluding College Holidays.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Services can be requested through the online service ticket website at http://footprints.alamo.edu or by contacting the San Antonio College HelpDesk. Once the ticket has been submitted, faculty and staff needing programming consultation services will meet with the Programmer and/or IT Project Coordinator to discuss specific program requirements and project scope. Following the meeting, the Programmer and/or IT Project Coordinator will meet with the College Director of Technology to determine resource availability and to confirm project approval.
