Data Backup and Recovery

Service Description:

Data backup, or the process of backing up, refers to storing files from your computer to another location. In the case of a data loss event, the original data in the backup can be used to restore your computer and original files. For this reason, employees need to store their essential files in their H: Drives or Share Drive, which they can access on the SAC network. SAC Office of Technology services supports faculty and staff network folders daily.

Availability:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
H: Drives and Share Drives are backed up on a daily basis by San Antonio College Office of Technology Services. For further assistance, services can be requested through the online service ticket website at http://footprints.alamo.edu.
