Hardware & Software Recommendations

Service Description:
The Office of Technology Services Technical Support unit provides standard hardware and software (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Adobe Reader, etc.) on all San Antonio College employee workstations. However, OTS understands that departments may sometimes need alternative resources. For this reason, OTS will provide guidance and assist with hardware and software recommendations per District IT standards, as well as meeting the departments needs.

Eligibility: Staff, Faculty

Availability:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
For a recommendation consultation with one of our technicians, please submit a Footprints ticket through the online service ticket website at http://footprints.alamo.edu or contact the college HelpDesk at 210-486-0777. When submitting a ticket please select "Purchasing" under the "Service" field, "Hardware or Software" in the "Component" field and "Hardware or Software Consultation" in the Detail field.
