Classroom Lecterns

Service Description:

In order to enhance the classroom teaching experience, the Office of Technology Services provides lecterns that are equipped with a computer and various audio/video equipment for instructor use. Upgrade of equipment within classroom lecterns are covered under the College Desktop Replacement Plan.  The Office of Technology Services at San Antonio College offers both telephone support, remote support, and onsite technical assistance for classroom technology.  Classroom technology support is classified as a high priority technical support issue.  For emergency issues, an onsite specialist will be immediately alerted to assist the faculty.

Availability:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
To report technical issues with classroom lecterns please submit a Footprints ticket. Services can be requested through the online service ticket website at http://footprints.alamo.edu.  When submitting a ticket, please select “Hardware Support” in the Service field, “Classroom Technology” in the Component field and “Report a Problem” in the Detail field. The SAC HelpDesk can also be contacted when reporting a technical issue at 210-486-0777.
