Student Internships

Service Description:

Office of Technology Services offers exciting internship experience for top San Antonio College students.  The internship program enhances academic students with hands-on experience in a professional setting.  Both Paid and Volunteer options are available.  Our programs are designed to provide students with practical work experience and the opportunity to complement their formal education with career-related experience.

Projects students have done in the past include:

  • Provided technical assistance.
  • Assisted with mass system roll-outs.
  • Researched new software and hardware.
  • Assisted with maintenance of network facilities.
  • Performed system maintenance.
  • Provided end-user training.

Availability:

How to access services (Procedures if Any):

Requirements:

  • Must be a actively enrolled student.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with end-users and co-workers.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills.
  • Must have the ability to research hardware and software related issues.
  • Must have experience working both independently and in a team oriented/collaborative environment.
  • Must be available to work minimum 20 hours per week.
