Respondus Monitor

Service Description:
Respondus Monitor is a companion application for LockDown Browser that uses webcam and video technology to prevent cheating during online exams. Respondus Monitor integrates seamlessly with Canvas, and is ideal for non-proctored testing environments.

Eligibility: Faculty

Availability:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Excluding emergency system maintenance timeframes.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Respondus Monitor is fully integrated with Canvas and the Respondus LockDown Browser tool in the course Navigation menu. Once a quiz is created, you can enable different levels of security, including taking a photo of the student taking the exam, an ID check and an environmental check.
