Smart Classrooms

Service Description:

A Smart classroom is a classroom that is equipped with a computer and various audio/video equipment.  Most classrooms at San Antonio College are equipped with a computer, a ceiling mounted projector, and one or more of the following:

·         Document Camera

·         Instructor Facing Camera
           
          Student Facing Camera
  
          Inter Active Boards

         Ceiling Computer Speakers

·        Pull Down or Electric Screen

·        Laptop Connection

·        Wireless Control System such as Crestron

·        TVs

Smart-classrooms at San Antonio College are also equipped with control switches to help navigate between various audio and video resources available within the classroom.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
For more information about Smart Classrooms or for technical support, please submit a Footprints ticket through the online service ticket website https://FootPrints.alamo.edu  When submitting a ticket, under "Category," you will need to select "Hardware" in the "Sub-Category field," _select "AV Equipment" and select the appropriate option from the "Action" field. Services can also be requested by contacting the college Helpdesk at 210-486-0777.
