•A member of the Scobee team is uniquely certified to provide NASA certification for the loan of Apollo Lunar Samples and Antarctic Meteorite Samples is provided throughout the year.

•Community Engagement is a San Antonio College strategic outcome that is directly aligned to the Scobee Education Center. STEM education groups and members of the SAC community regularly hold special events in the center to promote connections between the K-12 pathways to the Alamo Colleges.

•Children of all ages take part in journeys to space through planetarium presentations and simulated space flights in the Challenger Learning Center and Micronaut missions.

•Portions of the center may be rented for special events and meetings. These spaces are subject to both the availability of staffing and scheduling. Center spaces are not made available if their use is in conflict with our primary mission for K-12 student programming.
