Employee Network Drive (Home Directory)

Service Description: A network drive is allocated space on a server that can be shared by individuals who have been granted access. The Office of Technology Services provides all San Antonio College employees with a personal network drive called an H: Drive, or Home Directory, with 400 MB of storage space. This storage space can only be accessed by the employee; no other user has access to view its contents. Employees can use this space to save work-related documents that do not need to be shared with colleagues. Storage space can be increased based on requests. Data stored on the network drive is backed up daily and may be retrieved up to 30 days from deletion date if necessary. The current storage allows individuals to store any file type and access files, including off campus through San Antonio Colleges' virtual private network (VPN) service.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
To request an increase of storage or to report technical issues regarding a network drive, please submit a Footprints ticket using the online service request system at http://footprints.alamo.edu or by contacting the SAC HelpDesk at 210-486-0777. Please Note: Adjunct employees are reminded to have their supervisor renew their network account each semester to ensure access to their H: Drive (Home Directory).
