AccuTrack (Lab Tracking Software)

Service Description:
AccuTrack is a comprehensive academic center management system. This software automates manual processes, collects usage data, and reports on a center's services. Lab tracking systems such as AccuTrack improve security by monitoring student, faculty, and staff usage of services. At San Antonio College, the AccuTrack software application is installed on most computers in the open labs around campus. AccuTrack measures a lab's data by having the user sign in by entering their Banner ID number. Once the user has entered this information, they will be given a set of options regarding their reason for visiting. By gathering this information, AccuTrack facilitates the process of collecting metrics for the labs around campus.The Office of Technology Services staff provides purchasing of software, installation, and troubleshooting for the AccuTrack system.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):


For troubleshooting, installation requests, or any other inquiries regarding AccuTrack, please submit a Footprints work order using the online service ticket website at http://footprints.alamo.edu. When submitting a ticket, please select "Hardware Support" from the Service field, "Computer Lab" from the Component field, and the appropriate selection based on your needs from the drop down menu of the Detail field. Assistance can also be requested by contacting the SAC Helpdesk at (210)486-0777.
