Data backup, or the process of backing up, refers to the storing of files
from your computer to another location. In the case of a data loss event, the original data in backup can be used to restore your computer and original files. For this reason, it is important for employees to store their important files in their H: Drives or the Share Drive they have access to on the SAC network. Faculty and Staff network folders are backed up daily by SAC Office of Technology services.
