Laptop Loan Reservation Guidelines
Enrolled in Spring 2022 Classes and do not have a computer to access course content? San Antonio College has a limited inventory of laptops and internet hotspots available for your use. The laptops have Wi-Fi capability for use where wireless internet access exists, web camera and loaded with a web browser.
Criteria - Prior to reserving a laptop, ensure that the following program conditions are met:
  1. Must be currently enrolled in at least one active course at San Antonio College.
  2. Must be available to pick up laptop at SAC (1819 N. Main Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78212).
  3. Must be willing to come to Moody Learning Center (502 B) to pick up and return equipment.
  4. Must provide contact information, for example, email, phone number and home address.
  5. Must provide two forms of ID. Student Driver’s License and College ID.
  6. Must be available to pick up laptop at the scheduled available time. If No Show, the equipment will be reassigned to the next qualified student on the waiting list.
  7. Must inspect all laptop contents, including accessories, upon checkout and agree that it is in good condition before leaving the College premises.
  8. Please complete a separate Loan Request Form for each piece of equipment requested.
Note: Laptop will be delivered using Contactless Delivery Options.
WIFI Hotspot Loaner Program Update: Service will end May 15, 2022. Learn more...

All San Antonio College students that were loaned a WIFI Hotspot through our Equipment Loan program, please note the upcoming changes:

  1. Free internet service provided through your Hotspot will end May 15, 2022
  2. You may keep the device for your personal use after May 15,2022. No need to return to San Antonio College
  3. If you wish to continue using the Hotspot, you will need to purchase service through an Internet Service Provider.

Make sure to plan prior to end of service date. In addition, all Students can take advantage of free WIFI services across SAC Campus. Please note, Computer Lab services and assistance is also available at our Student Mega Lab (MLC 502).
