Surplus Technology Equipment

Service Description: This service facilitates the proper decommissioning, removal, and surplus of outdated or non-functional technology equipment at San Antonio College in accordance with Alamo Colleges District policies. The process ensures all college-owned technology assets are securely and responsibly removed from active use, including data sanitization, inventory reconciliation, and transportation to the San Antonio College surplus holding facility.

Eligibility: Staff, Faculty

Availability:
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):

1.  Designated Property Steward or Property Assistant for each College Department will identify technology equipment to surplus.

2.  Select the following link embedded in Alamo Share (SharePoint) to initiate the surplus process:

 Note:  A Help Guide is attached to this Service Catalog item and will provide step by step process to complete the online form.

3.  Log into Wisetrack (District-Wide Inventory Management System) and transfer the technology surplus asset(s). 

4.  Upon submission of Step 2, a member of our Office of Technology Services Team will contact you to process the surplus order.
