New Phone Request (VOIP)

Service Description:

VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephone service is offered to all San Antonio College faculty and staff.  The purpose of VOIP is to protect and maximize San Antonio College investment by storing, configuring, installing, and transporting VOIP devices throughout the San Antonio College campus. New phone requests for VOIP devices will be handled by the Office of Technology (OTS) Network Services Team and then delivered to its assigned location by the OTS Onsite Services Team.

Eligibility: Staff, Faculty

Availability:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding college holidays and closures.

How to access services (Procedures if Any):
Faculty and staff can request a VOIP phone through the online service ticket website at http://footprints.alamo.edu or by contacting the college HelpDesk at 210-486-0777. When submitting a Footprints ticket please select "Telecommunications" from the list of Services, "Desk Phone" from the list of Component, and "Request a Phone" from the Detail list.
